Dr Emeyn de Lange graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a Master’s degree in Health Sciences in Chiropractic in 2011, after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences in 2006. She is a registered practitioner with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) and is a member of both the Chiropractic Association of South Africa and the Paediatric Chiropractic Association of South Africa.
After graduating, Dr de Lange gained valuable experience working in the state healthcare sector at Kimberley Hospital. During her time there, she treated a wide range of patients of all ages and also had the opportunity to assist in the treatment and maintenance of the health of several Griqua rugby players.
She now practises privately, where she continues to pursue her passion for helping people from all walks of life. Dr de Lange values each of her patients, from paediatric to geriatric, and is dedicated to helping them regain comfort, mobility and quality of life, always striving to “put the smile back”.
In her earlier years, Dr de Lange achieved provincial colours in swimming and biathlon, which has given her a strong appreciation for the physical demands of sport. She particularly enjoys helping active individuals recover from injuries and return to their activities while restoring optimal function.
Her treatment approach is comprehensive and patient centred, combining evidence based spinal manipulation therapy with techniques such as dry needling, deep tissue friction, ABC techniques, soft tissue massage and Kinesio or dynamic taping. This allows her to create personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
As a mother of three, Dr de Lange understands the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between work, faith and family life. She is passionate about supporting mothers during pregnancy by helping manage symptoms and assisting with postpartum recovery. She also enjoys working with babies and toddlers, helping to optimise their physical development and manage injuries.
